• Full grain Tuscan leather
  We select only the very first layer of the bovine back, where the fibres are densest and most resistant.
• Penetrating hand dyeing
  Black and natural leather are obtained with water-based dyes applied brush after brush, so the pigment penetrates deeply without sealing the pores: the leather remains breathable and soft.
• Manual shaving and edging
  Thickness calibrated to 3.5 mm; the edges are knife-beveled, sanded and burnished several times with gum arabic for a silky surface that does not scratch passers-by.
• Stitching in waxed linen thread
  Hand saddle stitch, double pass, with 100% linen twisted thread; more resistant than any machine and infinitely repairable.
• Solid brass buckle
  Cast in micro-casting and hand-brushed, it oxidizes slightly over time, acquiring a lived-in charm that dialogues with the patina of the leather.
